How we help

One tutor, matched to your current grade and school, covering every paper and the Internal Assessment against the same criteria examiners use. Tap any item for more detail.

Four compulsory questions on unseen sources from your prescribed subject: comprehension, OPCVL evaluation, source comparison, and a mini-essay. We drill the OPCVL method until it’s automatic, not something reconstructed under pressure.

30% SL · 20% HL

One extended essay, chosen from question options spanning your two studied World History Topics. We build essay plans that argue a clear thesis with specific, well-chosen evidence, rather than summarising everything a student knows.

45% SL · 25% HL

HL only. Three essays drawn from your chosen regional depth study, covering the full range of topics it contains. We make sure every topic in the depth study gets exam-ready, not just the ones a student finds most interesting.

35% HL only

SL and HL both complete a 2,200-word historical investigation in three parts: identifying and evaluating sources, the investigation itself, and a reflection on method. We help students pick a research question with real evidentiary scope, then build each part against the criteria examiners use.

Before you book

Sessions run one-on-one over video, built around your child's actual school assessments rather than a generic syllabus.

We match on subject mastery and teaching style, informed by the free 15-minute call, not just who happens to be free.

Simply reach out to our admin team, and we'll work with you to arrange a replacement tutor better suited to your needs.

We recommend starting a few weeks before the beginning of term to allow adequate time for preparation, though starting earlier is always beneficial.

There is no minimum session requirement. We do, however, offer package options for families who prefer to commit in advance.

Yes. Paper 1 and Paper 2 are covered at both levels, plus Paper 3 for Higher Level students specifically, all timed to your school's assessment calendar.

Origin, Purpose, Content, Value, and Limitation — the framework examiners expect for evaluating every source on Paper 1. We drill it until applying it to an unseen source feels routine, not like decoding a formula from scratch.

Yes. We help students choose a research question with genuine evidentiary scope, then build the sources, investigation, and reflection against the same criteria examiners use.
